Very easy to install with either zip ties or screws( both are included). Having the ability to screw down the spike rail, and then raise the spikes up, made securing the rails much easier than spikes that have to be assembled through the bottom of the rail. The rail is flexible enough to bend to conform to curved surfaces. Used to deter squirrels from a bird feeder.

The stainless steel spikes work fine for keeping small birds away, and the plastic base is lightweight enough for my window sill. I like that it’s foldable and bendable—it shaped well to my railing’s curve. The package has large zip ties and screws, which is nice, but the screws are a bit short for concrete surfaces. Had to grab longer ones from the hardware store to get a secure fit. It gets the job done, but not 100% hassle-free.

Between two different bird spike sets I got, these are my preferred option, mainly because they come preassembled. Yes, the plastic could break but the install is much easier with this design as the spikes come preloaded and you can place and screw the spikes down and then raise them up once in place, well somewhat depending on where you install. Other spikes you have to assemble, which can be tedious.

Decent bird deterrent. Stainless steel = rust-resistant, bendable/foldable for corners. Included hardware is a plus. Plastic base cracked when I tightened screws too hard—handle with care.

Easy to deploy. Multiple mounting options. Big zip ties included which is very nice. The spikes are pre installed on the plastic base. You just have to rotate the spikes to the upright position and they lock in place. I wish the plastic base was better quality though because they feel like they’re about to break when flipping the spikes up.
